ORDER
Mr. Justice R.S. Sharma, President.—The complainant filed this consumer complaint under Section 12 of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 (instead of filing complaint under Section 17 of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986) against the OPs seeking following reliefs:
(1) To grant compensation towards financial loss suffered by the complaint during last 6 years to the tune of Rs. 25,20,000 (Rupees twenty five lakh twenty thousand) along with interest.
(2) To grant compensation for mental agony, which was suffered by the complainant during last six years, to the tune of Rs. 4,00,000 (Rupees four lakh).
(3) To grant Advocate fees and other relief, which this Commission deems fit.
2. Briefly stated the facts of the complaint of the complainant are that the complainant completed M.B.A. in the year 2004-2005 and she passed third and fourth semesters from the O.P. No.1 institution. As per order of Government of Chhattisgarh, Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur, will have right to provide degree to students of all the private educational institutions.
