U.V. Bakre, President—This appeal is directed against the judgment and order dated 31/07/2015 passed by the Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, North Goa (the "Forum", for short) in Consumer Complaint No. 01/2010. The appellant was the Opposite Party (OP, for short) whereas the deceased respondent No. 1 and the respondent No. 2 were the original Complainants, in the said Complaint. The respondents No. 1(a) to 1(f) are the legal representatives of the deceased respondent No. 1. Parties shall hereinafter be referred to as per their status in the said Complaint.

2. The original Complainants had filed the said Complaint for a direction to the Opposite Party (OP, for short) to provide a free Goa - Dubai tour to them and to pay to them compensation of Rs. 50,000/- and costs. Case of the Complainants, in short, was as follows:-

They had availed of the services of the OP for an overseas package tour to Jordan, Israel, Egypt and Dubai from 16/05/2009 to 28/05/2009 and had paid to the OP a sum of Rs. 1,76,428/- towards the entire tour.
