ORDER

R.S. Madan, President - This appeal is preferred against the order dated 23.4.2004 passed by District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Kaithal whereby the complaint of the respondent No. l (complainant), alleging deficiency in service on the part of the appellant as well as respondent No. 2 -opposite party No. l, for supplying the inferior quality of wheat seeds was accepted by granting following relief:

So, the respondent Nos. 2 and 3 are directed to pay Rs. 31,000 (50 Quintal x 620) as loss occurred in 5 acres land and Rs. 39,060 (63 Quintal x 620) as loss occurred in 5 acres land and Rs. 39,060 (63 Quintal x 620) as loss occurred in 9 acres land, total amounting to Rs. 70,060 to the complainant. So far as relief of 6 acres land is concerned, the same is disallowed because there is no proof of said loss on the file. Rs. 5,000 is awarded as compensation for harassment and mental agony including the costs. Respondent Nos. 2 and 3 are jointly and severally liable to pay the amount to the complainant.
