JUDGMENT

J.S. Klar, Presiding Judicial Member - By this common judgment, we intend to dispose of the above referred two first appeals together, as they can be conveniently disposed of together, because they have arisen out of the same order dated 25.02.2014 of District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum Hoshiarpur. First Appeal No. 511 of 2014 has been filed for enhancement of compensation by the complainant now appellant of this appeal, whereas First Appeal No.521 of 2014 has been filed by the OPs now appellant in this appeal challenging the order of the District Forum Hoshiarpur dated 25.02.2014.

2. The complainant Satya Devi has filed the present complaint U/s 12 of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 (in short, "the Act") against the OPs on the averments that her son Kulbir Singh got the job offer from UAE based company i.e. Electro Mechanical Electric Company as Wiring Electrician Assistant. He was possessed of valid passport with immigration check and was holding valid letter of appointment for job outside India. He obtained "Parvasi Bharti Bima Yojna Policy" from OPs on 10.12.2014 for two years, vide policy certificate no.021001/48/04/00264/58091 for sum of Rs. 2 lacs in the even
