Gurcharan Singh Saran, Presiding Judicial Member - Complainant has filed this complaint against the opposite parties (hereinafter referred as Ops) under Section 17 of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 (for short the Act) on the averments that Ops raised their project "ATS Green Golf Meadows", accordingly, the complainant on 30.6.2006 had booked a single plot of 500 sq. yards for their own residential purpose wth the Ops. At that time, they had fixed the price of the plot as Rs. 30 Lac and also stated that they have already acquired the land necessary for the purpose of development of the project and applied for necessary statutory approvals to commence the development. It was also told that no further payment except the registry charges will be taken from the complainant. The complainant paid the full price of the plot as detailed below:-
