Bhanwar Singh, President (Oral)- All these appeals bearing common issues have been taken up together for disposal.

2. Mr. R.K. Gupta, learned Counsel for the appellants is present. However, none responds on behalf of the respondents despite the notice of date having been issued to them individually. The cause list of date was also displayed on the internet.

3. Since these are old appeals of the year 1998 we deem it appropriate to decide them on merit.

4. We have heard Mr. R.K. Gupta at length and perused the record of the individual appeals.

5. A very short question is required to be answered by us and it is to the effect that as to whether the Ambar Charkhas supplied by the appellants to the respondents/complainants who are 29 in number, were defective or not

6. It may be mentioned that 29 respondents/complainants namely Smt. Rajrani, Smt. Sawari, Smt. Sarla Devi, Smt. Savitri Devi w/o Bhagwan Din, Smt. Shiv Kumari Smt. Shiv Kanya, Smt. Ram Kanya, Smt. Savitri Devi w/o Bhaiya Lal, Smt. Ram Kali, Smt. Shyam Kali, Smt. Chiluhi, Smt. Subihati, Smt. Tarawati, Smt. Pitni, Smt. Raj Rani, Smt. Kusma, Smt. Sundaria, Smt. Chandra Devi, Smt.
