ORDER

K. Ramanna, President - These two appeals are filed by the appellant/OP challenging the common order dated 17.12.2008 passed by the District Forum, Gadag in complaint Nos. 319 and 320/2008 whereby the appellant herein is directed to pay the amount to the respondents the amount covered under the receipts with interest at 6% per annum from the date of purchasing the seeds and also directed to pay to each of the respondents a sum of Rs. 1,000 per acre towards purchase of fertilizer after calculation and to pay Rs. 10,000 to each of the respondents for the area to which the seeds are sown. The appellants is also directed to pay Rs. 1,000 towards compensation and Rs. 1,000 towards costs to each of the respondents. Hence not being satisfied with the said order, the appellant/OP has come up with these appeal on various grounds.

2. After service of notice the respondents have appeared through a Counsel and resisted the appeals contending that the impugned order under challenge by the appellant/OP does not call for any interference and therefore they prayed for dismissal of the appeals.
