Aggrieved by the order dated 02.06.2017 in CC No. 535 of 2016 passed by the State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, UT Chandigarh (for short the “State Commission”), the M/s Trishla Buildtech Pvt. Ltd. preferred First Appeal bearing No. 1526/2017 and the Complainants preferred First Appeal bearing No. 1682/2017 under Section 19 of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 (for short “the Act”). By the impugned order, the State Commission has partly allowed the Complaint and granted the following reliefs:-

1. To refund the amount deposited by the complainants in the sum of Rs.55,53,300/- along with interest @ 7.5% p.a. (simple) from the respective dates of deposit till realization.

2. To pay compensation in the sum of Rs. one lac on account of mental agony, physical harassment, deficiency in service, unfair trade practice, financial loss and cost of litigation in the sum of Rs.35,000/-.

3. The payment of awarded amounts mentioned at Sr. Nos.(i) & (ii), shall be made by the Opposite Parties to the complainants, within a period of 02(two) months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order, failing which, the amount mentioned at Sr. No. (i) shall ca
