ORDER :

Mr. Dilip Kumar Mahanta, Member-This appeal has been filed by the appellant HDFC Ergo General Insurance Company Ltd. against the judgment dated 4.3.2016, passed by the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Sonitpur, Tezpur, in respect of the Consumer Complaint No. 2 of 2011, whereby, the District Forum has directed the appellant Insurance Company to disburse to the respondent the amount of Rs. 37,500 towards the expenses of treatment together with compensation of Rs. 7,500 on account of mental agony & harassment under the Sarv Suraksha Plus Policy No. 40088755 standing in the name of the complainant. It has further been ordered that the total amount of Rs. 45,000 will be required to be paid within a period of thirty days from the date of the receipt of the copy of the said judgment failing which, the said sum shall carry interest @ 6% per annum from the date of filing of the complaint petition (sic).
