JUDGMENT
Sangita Dhingra Sehgal (President)—The present complaint has been filed by the Complainants before this Commission alleging deficiency of service and unfair trade practice by the Opposite Parties and has prayed the following:—
(a) “Thereby ordering the Opposite Parties to pay the claim amount of Rs.48,19,186/- including the damages and compensation calculates as per the estimated opportunity cost as per the duly audited balance sheets of the complainants for causing harassment, sufferings.
(b) Order the opposite parties to pay interest @ 24% p.a. on the claim amount from the date of institution of the present complaint till the realization.
(c) To pay the cost of Rs.51,000/- to the complainant as the legal expenses of the complaint.
(d) Any other order as deems fit and proper be also passed in favour of the complainant and against the opposite parties.”
2. Brief facts necessary for the adjudication of the present complaint are that the Complainants have maintained their accounts with the Opposite Party No.1 Bank and are also running two partnership firms under the name and style of “M/s Nagpal Trading Corporation” and “M/s Nagpal Cork & Jointing” and are availing a
