( 1 ) THIS is a petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, though styled as a petition under Article 226 of the Constitution, for enforcement of fundamental rights under Article 14 of the Constitution. 1. 1 the petitioner herein challenges the order of termination of service of the petitioner passed by the District Primary Education Officer, ultimately confirmed in appeal by the Director of Primary Education. Obviously, therefore, this is a petition under Article 227 of the Constitution since the petitioner challenges the orders passed by the statutory authorities in the performance of their quasi-judicial functions. 1. 2.
