1. The present appeal is at the instance of a convict accused for the offences punishable under Sections 302, 307,326 and 324 of the IPC and is directed against order of conviction and sentence dated 5/5/2008 passed by the Additional Sessions Judge, Kheda at Nadiad in Sessions Case No.96/2007. By the aforesaid order, the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Kheda at Nadiad found the appellant guilty of the offence punishable U/s.302 of IPC and consequently sentenced him to suffer Life Imprisonment with fine of Rs.5,000/-, in default of payment of fine, further R.I. for 2 years. The learned Additional Sessions Judge also found the appellant guilty of the offence punishable U/s.307 IPC and consequently sentenced him to suffer 10 years of R.I. with fine of Rs.1,000/-, in default R.I. for 2 years. The learned Addl. Sessions Judge also found the appellant guilty of the offence punishable U/s.326 of the IPC and consequently sentenced him to suffer R.I. for 3 years with fine of Rs.500/-, i/d 6 months R.I. The learned Additional Sessions Judge also found the appellant guilty of the offence punishable u/s.324 IPC and consequently sentenced him to suffer R.I.
