JUDGMENT :

1. In this petition, the petitioner has prayed that the respondent-Police authority be directed to register an FIR as per the complaint dated 19.07.2020 given by him.

2. Heard learned advocate, Mr. Vickey Kori appearing for the petitioner and learned APP Mr. Raval for the respondent-State of Gujarat.

3. Learned advocate for the petitioner, after referring to the averments made in the memo of petition and after referring to the written complaint dated 19.07.2020, copy of which is produced on record at Page No. 8 of the compilation, contended that the petitioner has given said written complaint to the Police Inspector, Nikol Police Station and copy of which is also sent to DCP, Ahmedabad, however, no steps are taken by the respondent authority and, therefore, appropriate directions be issued to the respondent-Police authorities.

4. On the other hand, learned APP has opposed this petition. He has placed reliance upon the order dated 17.12.2020 passed by this Court in Special Criminal Application No. 6760/2020. It is submitted that as per the said order, the petition is having alternative remedy of filing private complaint before the concerned Magistrate Court.
