1. This application is filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita for regular bail in connection with F.I.R. No.11208053240496 of 2024 registered with Rajkot Taluka Police Station, District Rajkot City, for the offences punishable under Sections 36, 304, 308, 337, 338, 465, 466, 471, 474, 201, 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.
2. Learned senior counsel Mr. Nirupam D. Nanavati appearing for the applicant has submitted that investigation is over and the Charge-sheet is filed. The applicant herein was working as Deputy Chief Fire Officer with the Rajkot Municipal Corporation at the relevant time. The case of the prosecution against the present applicant is with regard to only negligence and carelessness. No positive overt act has been attributed to the present applicant which may have furthered the incident of fire.
