ORAL ORDER

1. Heard learned Advocate Mr. Zamir z. Shaikh for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader Mr. G.H. Virk with learned AGP Ms. Dharitri Pancholi for the respondent-State and learned Advocate Mr. Anuj K. Trivedi for the respondent-Corporation.

2. While the present petition is preferred in context of an apprehension that the residential accommodation of the petitioner may be demolished by the respondent-Corporation, more particularly the case of the petitioner being that since adjacent premises have been demolished by the Corporation, the premises of the petitioner also would be done away with.

3. As against the same, it is submitted by learned Advocate Mr. Anuj Trivedi that the issue with regard to the demolition is being looked into by this Court in Special Civil Application No. 8712 of 2026 and whereas as far as the present property is concerned, the Corporation is not intending to demolish the same as of now, and in case the Corporation would seek to take any steps, the Corporation would take appropriate steps in accordance with law, that is to say that the petitioner would be issued appropriate notice and the procedure as per the law would be followed.

4. Considering the statement made by learned Advocate Mr. Anuj Trivedi, to this Court it would appear that nothing further is required to be done, except directing the respondent-Corporation to take appropriate steps in accordance with law, if some coercive measures are intended to be taken against the property in question.

5. With the above observations, the petition stands disposed of
