Heard Mr. Hage Lampu, learned counsel, appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner. Also heard Ms. Anima Mize, learned Addl. Senior Government Advocate, appearing on behalf of State Respondents No. 1,2,3,4 & 5; as well as Mr. Kento Jini, learned standing counsel, appearing on behalf of Respondent No. 6.
2. These 2 (two) writ petitions are filed by the same petitioner; one, challenging the legality and validity of the judgment & order, dated 29.04.2016, passed by the Deputy Commissioner, Itanagar Capital Complex, Itanagar, in Case No. Appeal-14/2013, and praying for setting aside and quashing of the same and the consequential orders, dated 11.07.2016, issued by the Superintendent of Police (HQ), and the authorization letter, issued by the Assistant Inspector General of Police (PHQ), and praying for a direction, directing the respondents to restore the possession of the land, in dispute, to him, and any other direction/order, as deemed fit and proper in the interest of justice and, the other; praying for issuance of appropriate writ or direction, directing the respondents to pay compensation to him, to the tune of Rs. 39,80,000/- for having demolished his residential
