JUDGMENT

1. - In these writ petitions, common questions have been raised for consideration. Notices were issued to the respondents to show cause as to why the writ petitions should not be admitted. The learned counsel for the parties desired that the writ petitions may be disposed of at the admission stage. Therefore, they are being disposed of by this common judgment.

2. In D.B. Civil Writ Petition No. 1276/1987, the petitioner has prayed for issuance of a writ of certiorari or any other appropriate writ, order or direction for quashing the verdict given by the Court of Enquiry held in connection with the hiring of accommodation by non-petitioner No. 3 vide order dated 14th April, 1987.

3. Briefly stated, the facts of the case are that the petitioner is a Military Personnel. He joined military services in the year 1963, as 2nd Lieutenant and at present he is working as Major for the last 3 years. It is contended by the petitioner that he is posted in Alpha Composite Signal Regiment C/o 56 APO and is working under non-petitioner No. 3 who is the Commanding Officer of the said Unit.
