JUDGMENT

1. - These appeals are directed against the common judgement passed by the Court of Sessions, Bundi dated 23.5.2005 whereby accused-appellants were convicted and sentenced in the manner as indicated hereinbelow:

Lal Chand was convicted for offence under section 302 read with Section 148 of IPC and sentenced to undergo life imprisonment with a fine of Rs. 2,000/- and in default of payment of which, to further undergo six months additional rigorous imprisonment, for offence under section 447 of IPC and sentenced to undergo three months simple imprisonment and for offence under section 201 of IPC and sentenced to undergo simple imprisonment of one year with a fine of Rs. 1,000/- and in default of payment of which, to further undergo three months additional simple imprisonment.

Ranjeet Singh and Guddu @ Gajraj Singh were convicted for offence under section 302/149 of IPC and sentenced to undergo life imprisonment with a fine of Rs. 2,000/- each and in default of payment of which, to further undergo six months additional rigorous imprisonment, for offence under section 147 of IPC and sentenced to undergo simple imprisonment of six months, for offence under section 447 of IPC and
