ORDER

2. Mr. Jai Prakash, the Addl. Advocate General, appears on behalf of the State.

3. Mr. Sanjoy Piprawall, Advocate, appears on behalf of the Respondent Nos. 2 to 4.

4. J.C. to Mr. Ajit Kumar, A.A.G., appears on behalf of the Hon'ble Jharkhand High Court and waives service of notice.

5. The learned counsel for the petitioners has sought permission to correct the cut-off date in the writ petition from 31.01.2004 to 31.01.2009.

6. Permission is granted.

7. Accordingly, the counsel for the petitioners is permitted to amend the prayer in the writ petition.

8. The Respondent No. 2 issued the Advertisement No. 4/2013 published in different newspapers on 10.12.2013 inviting applications from the candidates for the post of Civil Judge (Junior Division) fixing the maximum age of 35 years for the candidates of General Category as on 31.01.2013.

9. The petitioners are stated to be born in the year, 1973 and they are aged 40 years now. The contention of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners is that, since the respondents have not conducted examination for the post of Civil Judge (Junior Division) after 2008, the law graduates who com
