The suit is for recovery of a sum of Rs.1,01,697.25 with future interest per annum against the first defendant, for a mortgage decree against the defendants for the said amount and for a personal decree against the defendants 2 to 4 for amount with subsequent interest and costs.

The substance of the plaintiffs case as gathered from the plaint is as follows: The plaintiff is a Bank constituted under Central Act 5 of 1970, having its head Bombay with the several branches throughout the country and among which, a Ennore, Saidapet Taluk, Chengalpattu District, is being represented by its Principal and Manager.
