( 1 ) MR. P. KARTHIKEYAN, the complainant, the petitioner herein has preferred this revision before this Court, against the order of the First Additional Sessions judge, Pondicherry in Crl. R. P. No. 1 of 1989, dated 10-10-1989, reversing the order of the Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Pondicherry, passed in C. C. No. 263 of 1988, dated 28-10-1988.

( 2 ) THE petitioner was working as a Post-Graduate Teacher in Vivekananda government Boys Higher Secondary School, Villianur, Pondicherry. The respondent Ananthanarayanan, was the Principal of the said school. By a memorandum dated 28-1-1986, a charge-sheet was issued to the complainant, and an enquiry was conducted against him. The Enquiry Officer, after finishing the enquiry, submitted a report to the respondent/principal, who was the disciplinary Authority for taking appropriate action. The respondent being the disciplinary authority, accepted the finding given in the Enquiry Report and ordered compulsory retirement of the complainant/petitioner from service.
