The appellants in Crl.A.No.870 of 2006 are the accused 2 and 3 and the appellants in Crl.A.No.917 of 2006 are the accused 1 and 4 in S.C.No.105 of 2005 on the file of the learned Chief Judicial-cum-Assistant Sessions Judge, Villupuram District, Villupuram. The learned Judge has convicted the first accused for offence under Section 366 I.P.C., and sentenced him to undergo rigorous imprisonment for seven years and to pay a fine of Rs.1,000/- in default to undergo rigorous imprisonment for six months and for the offence under Section 506(ii) I.P.C., to undergo rigorous imprisonment for two years and for the offence under Section 376 I.P.C., to undergo rigorous imprisonment for 10 years and to pay a fine of Rs.4,000/- in default to undergo rigorous imprisonment six months
