1. The detenu has been branded as a "Goonda" under the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and detained under order of the 2nd respondent passed in D.O.No.30/2013-C2 dated 06.05.2013.
2. The detenu came to adverse notice in the following cases :

The ground case alleged against the detenue is one registered on 25.03.2013 by the Inspector of Police, Kalasapakkam Police Station in Crime No.122 of 2013 for offences under Sections 341 and 394 IPC. Aggrieved by the order of detention, the present petition has been filed.
3. Though learned counsel for the petitioner has raised several other grounds to assail the order of detention, he has mainly focussed his argument on the ground that though the detaining authority relied on a similar case wherein bail was granted to two accused therein by the learned Sessions Judge, Tiruvannamalai in Crl.M.P.No.3384 of 2012 and arrived at the subjective satisfaction that there is a likelihood of the detenu coming out on bail in
