This petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent herein to forthwith provide necessary police protection to the petitioner on the basis of his representation dated 25.08.2015.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that on the complaint given by this petitioner, a case in Crime No.152 of 2015 under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 336 and 506(ii) IPC has been registered against 11 persons, including respondent nos.3 to 6.

3. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. If there is any threat to the life and limb of the petitioner, the respondent police shall give necessary protection.
