The appellant in Crl.A.No.433 of 2015 is the Accused No.1 and the appellant in Crl.A.No.208 of 2015 is the Accused No. 2 in S.C. No. 229 of 2008 on the file of the III Additional Sessions Judge, Cuddalore at Virudhachalam. They stood charged for offences under Sections 302, 201 r/w 302, 392 and 201 r/w 392 of IPC. The trial court, by judgement dated 19.03.2015, convicted both A1 and A2 under all the charges and sentenced them to undergo imprisonment for life and to pay a fine of Rs.1,000/- each in default to suffer rigorous imprisonment for a further period of two years for the offence under Section 302 of IPC; to undergo rigorous imprisonment for seven years and to pay a fine of Rs.1,000/- each in default to suffer rigorous imprisonment for a further period of six months for offence under Section 392 of IPC; to undergo rigorous imprisonment for three years and to pay a fine of Rs.1,000/- each in default to suffer rigorous imprisonment for a further period of six months for offence under Section 201 r/w 302 of IPC; and to undergo rigorous imprisonment for three years and to pay a fine of Rs.1,000/- each in default to suffer rigorous imprisonment for a fur
