1. The order of cancellation of appointment of the writ petitioner issued in proceedings dated 04.01.2016 is under challenge in this writ petition.
2. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner made a submission that the writ petitioner was appointed as Assistant Professor in the 2nd respondent College in proceedings dated 05.06.2014. The petitioner continued in service for about(1½) years. All of a sudden, the order impugned had been issued, stating that the writ petitioner is not qualified for holding the Post of Assistant Professor(History). Accordingly, an order of cancellation was issued. Challenging the said order, the present writ petition has been filed.
3. The learned counsel for the writ petitioner states that the writ petitioner had completed a SSLC course during the year 1978. She completed Pre University Course (P.U.C) in the year 1979. Though she joined in the B.Sc., course in University of Madras in the year 1979. On account of certain personal reasons, the petitioner was unable to pursue her education. She discontinued the under graduation course and got married. Thereafter, the writ petitioner further pursued her higher studies in the year
