The appellants in S.A. No. 53 of 2018 are the defendants in O.S. No. 220 of 2009 and the appellants in S.A. No. 54 of 2018 are the plaintiffs in O.S. No. 358 of 2012. The appellants 1 to 4 in S.A. No. 53 of 2018 and the appellants in S.A. No. 54 of 2018 are one and the same. The respondent in S.A. No. 53 of 2018 and the first respondent in S.A. No. 54 of 2018 are one and the same. The fifth appellant in S.A. No. 53 of 2018 is the fifth defendant in O.S. No. 220 of 2009. The second respondent in S.A. No. 54 of 2018 is the second defendant in O.S. No. 358 of 2012.

2. Since the issues involved in both the Second Appeals are interlinked and the parties in both the appeals are one and the same, they are heard together and disposed of by this common judgment.
