Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to grant permission and give police protection to conduct the “Adal Padal Programme” dance program at about 07.00 p.m. to 18.07.2022 in pursuance to the festival of “Arulmighu Sri Mahamariamman Thirukovil” situated at Velakkanantham Village, Musiri Taluk, Trichy District on considering the petitioner's representation, dated 13.07.2022.

1. This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission and give police protection to conduct “Adal Padal” dance program at about 07.00 p.m. on 18.07.2022 in pursuance to the festival of “Arulmighu Sri Mahamariamman Thirukovil” situated at Velakkanantham Village, Musiri Taluk, Trichy District, on considering the petitioner's representation, dated 13.07.2022.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
