1. The Appellant/Accused has preferred this Criminal Appeal as against the judgment of conviction and sentence imposed on him in S.C.No.145 of 2016 on the file of the learned Sessions Judge, Mahila Court, Salem, Salem District, dated 31.05.2017.
2. Learned Counsel for the Appellant submitted that the Appellant was convicted by the learned Sessions Judge, Fast Track Mahila Court, Salem, in S.C.No.145 of 2016 as per judgment dated 31.05.2017. Learned Counsel for the Appellant invited the attention of this Court to the charges framed by the learned Sessions Judge, Fast Track Mahila Court, Salem and the complaint preferred by the victim/Prosecutrix under Ex.P1, in which the substances or materials attracting the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 1998, are not found.
