JUDGMENT

(Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the impugned order viz., GO.(Ms) No.158 Public Works (D2) Department dated 01.11.2021 issued by the first respondent and to quash the same insofar as ordering in para-9(E) making the option final and irreversible and consequently direct the official respondents to get fresh options from the petitioners and to allot them accordingly to Public Works Department and consequently to revise the promotions already made pursuant to GO.(2D) No.23 Public Works (A1) Department dated 30.08.2022 and issue consequential promotion orders to the eligible petitioners based on their revised options that would be given to Public Works Department.
