Judgment

1. Prayer in this petition is for grant of anticipatory bail in case fir No.368 dated 6.11.2004, registered under Sections 326,324,336,427,34 of the Indian Penal Code at Police Station Jagraon. Vide order of this Court dated 13.12.2005, it was directed that in the event of arrest of the petitioner, he shall be released on bail, subject to the conditions enumerated therein.

2. Counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner has joined investigation, therefore, his custodial interrogation is not required. Counsel for the State of Punjab, on instructions from Head constable Surjit Singh, Police Station Jagraon, does not deny the aforementioned fact and states that custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not required. In view of what has been stated above, the order of this Court dated 13.12.2005 is made absolute, subject to the provisions of Sec.438 of the Cr. P. C. This petition stands disposed of accordingly.
