On the 27th of March, 1935, Ram Kishan and Smt. Ishari gifted their estates, which they had inherited from Kaka, to Smt., Prito and Smt. Channo, defendants Nos. 1 and 2 respectively. This gift was challenged by Daya Ram on the usual ground that the property was ancestral and the gift would not affect his reversionary rig
