ORDER

N.C. Khichi, J. - Heard.

The appellants No. 1 to 3 have already undergone almost 3 years and 9 months of sentence, whereas appellant No. 4 Dharmpal remained on bail throughout the trial. He allegedly caused simple injuries to the prosecution witnesses. The appeal is not likely to be taken up for hearing in the near future due to heavy rush of work. In view of the observations made by Honble Supreme Court in Bhagwan Rama Shinde Gosai & others v. State of Gujarat, JT 1999(4) SC 1, the remaining sentence awarded to the appellants shall remain suspended during the pendency of appeal on his furnishing bail bonds to the satisfaction of CJM, Patiala.

Application allowed.
