Mr. Rajeev Sharma, J - Since common questions of law and facts are involved in the aforesaid appeals, therefore these are taken up together and disposed off by a common judgment.
2. These three appeals are instituted against the judgment and order dated 12.12.2014 and 15.12.2014 rendered by the Additional Sessions Judge, Panipat in Sessions case no.11 of 2013 whereby the appellants were charged with and tried for offences punishable under Sections 392, 397, 302, 120-B, 420 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code (in short ‘IPC’) and under Section 25 of the Arms Act.
3. The appellants Sonu and Sunil @ Billu were convicted and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of two years and to pay a fine of Rs.200/- each and in default of payment of fine, to further undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of one month for offence under Section 120-B IPC. They were also convicted and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for life and to pay a fine of Rs.2000/- each and in default of payment of fine, to further undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of one year for offence under Section 302 IPC.
