JUDGMENT

Arvind Singh Sangwan, J. - CRM No.23536 of 2021

Prayer in this application is for preponing the date fixed in the main petition.

2. Heard.

3. For the reasons stated in the application, the same is allowed and the main case is taken up today for hearing.

CRM-M No.9161 of 2020 (O&M)

4. The petitioners have prayed for quashing of FIR No.0049 dated 02.05.2017 for offence punishable under Sections 324, 34, 120-B of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (in short 'IPC') (Section 326 IPC added later), at Police Station Mehtiana, District Hoshiarpur and all other consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of the compromise effected between the parties.

5. Vide order dated 02.03.2020, the parties were directed to appear before the trial Court/Illaqa Magistrate to get their statements recorded with regard to genuineness of the compromise.

6. A report dated 10.07.2020 has been submitted by the Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Hoshiarpur, wherein it has been reported that statements of the petitioners and respondent No.2 have been recorded and statements made by the parties in the Court reveal that they have voluntarily entered into a compromise and the Court is satisfied that the partie
