JUDGMENT

1. The petitioners, claiming themselves to be aged about 17 years and 6 months and 28 years respectively, have approached this Court seeking protection of their life and liberty on the averments that they performed marriage on 16.06.2021 at their friends residence as per Hindu rites and ceremonies against the wishes of respondents No.4 to 6 and the petitioners are apprehending threat to their life and liberty at their instance.

2. Learned Counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners after performing marriage are living together. The petitioners have apprehension of danger to their life from respondents No.4 to 6. No action for protection of their life and liberty has been taken by the police despite making of representation by them and direction in this regard may be issued to respondents No.2 and 3 for protection of their life and liberty. In support of his submissions learned Counsel for the petitioners has placed reliance on the judgments passed by the Coordinate Bench of this Court in CRWP-7911-2020 (O&M) titled as 'Divya Vs.
