JUDGMENT

Avneesh Jhingan, J. - This petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. is filed seeking anticipatory bail in FIR No. 316 dated 14.7.2022, under Section 15 of the Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 registered at Police Station Sadar Dabwali, District Sirsa.

In the first petition, the following order was passed on 4.8.2022:

'This petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. is filed seeking anticipatory bail in FIR No. 316 dated 14.7.2022, under Section 15 of the Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 registered at Police Station Sadar Dabwali, District Sirsa.

One of the ground for seeking anticipatory bail is that brother of the petitioner had filed a complaint against the police officials which is still pending.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press the present petition. However, a request is made that the petitioner would surrender before the Illaqa Magistrate/Chief Judicial Magistrate within ten days from today and apply for regular bail, his application be taken up expeditiously.

The petition is disposed of.
