Headnote:(A) Criminal Procedure Code, 1973—Section 156(3)—Application thereunder—CJM directed police to register FIR—Investigate Criminal Case under Sections 323, 504, 506(2), 352, IPC and Section 3(1)(x) of SC/ST Act—Question of fact cannot be adjudicated by writ Court—It is domain of Investigating Agency—Hence, no interference warranted.

       (B) Criminal Procedure Code, 1973—Section 156(3)—Purpose of—Is only to call upon police and investigate a cognizable offence—Investigate the matter.

       (C) Criminal Procedure Code, 1973—Section 190—Scope of—Calls for a greater application of judicial mind—Magistrate concerned to decide whether or not cognizance should be taken—On a complaint, police report or information from other source regarding commission of offence.
