Headnote:Criminal Procedure Code, 1973—Sections 482 and 320—Criminal proceedings—Quashing of—Offence under Sections 498-A, 323, 324, 504 and 506 IPC and Section 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act—Parties entered into compromise and therefore, none of them wanted to litigate matter any further—In present case parties have already exchanged their pleasantries and relationship between husband and wife has already been severed by a compromise divorce decree—There has been provision for rearing up child by both parties in compromise deed—Informant herself is not ready to depose against accused persons—In interest of justice proceeding against appellants liable to be quashed.
