JUDGMENT :

1. Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned standing counsel.

2. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that a general direction was issued in Chandra Bali vs. Addl. Commissioner and others, Writ-C No. 6635 of 2012. Despite direction, the pending restoration has not been decided within stipulated time. Learned counsel for the applicant has not placed on record the order sheet of the proceedings.

3. In view thereof, the contempt application is disposed of.

4. However, it is provided that in the event of the applicant making an application to expedite the proceedings pending before the competent court, it is expected that the court shall consider and decide the applicant's' application, in accordance with law.
