The Miscellaneous Application No. 1665 of 2019 is filed along with Counter Affidavit on behalf of respondent No. 3. In the counter affidavit, the respondent No. 3 has placed on record a judgment as rendered by the Hon’ble Apex Court as passed in Writ Petition (Civil) No. 905 of 2018, Jai Singh and others Vs. University Grants Commission and others which has recorded the following findings.
2. The Hon’ble Apex Court in its judgment as reported in 2018(1) SCC 468, Orissa Lift Irrigation Corporation Limited Vs. Rabi Sankar Patro and others has held that the course of AICTE as being imparted by the Institution of respondent No. 6 has been held out to be not to be a recognized course, which could be taken into consideration for granting the relief as claimed by the petitioner to the following effect:-
“23. UGC, DEC and AICTE as well as MHRD Government of India have issued various Notifications, Circulars and Guidelines touching upon the issues involved in the present cases, which may now be referred to:
23.1. On 25.11.1985, UGC (the minimum standards of instructions for the grant of the first degree through formal education in the faculties of Arts, Humanities, Fine Arts, Music,
