JUDGMENT

Manoj Kumar Tiwari, J. - WPSS No. 1662 of 2012 filed by the petitioner was allowed vide order dated 08.03.2018, and respondents were directed to work out the arrears of petitioners’ salary on the pay scale of Rs. 975-1100, by adjusting the amount already paid.

2. On 23.10.2021, this Court directed learned Standing Counsel to get instructions in the matter. Today, on instructions, Mr. J.S. Bisht, learned Standing Counsel has produced in Court the order dated 18.12.2018 passed by District Social Welfare Officer, Pithoragarh, which is taken on record.

3. Perusal of said order indicates that necessary sanction for release of arrears of salary was granted. Learned Standing Counsel, on instructions, submits that in terms of the order passed by Writ Court, a sum of Rs. 71,233/- has been paid to the petitioner.

4. In such view of the matter, this Court is satisfied that the order passed by Writ Court has been complied with.

5. Accordingly, the contempt petition is closed. Contempt notice issued to opposite party is hereby discharged.
