JUDGMENT

Manoj Kumar Tiwari, J. - Services of the petitioner were terminated. Petitioner challenged such termination by filing WPSS No. 2039 of 2016. The Writ Court quashed the termination order passed against the petitioner with a further direction to re-instate him with all consequential benefits, however, liberty was given to the respondents to proceed with the matter, in accordance with law.

2. Learned Standing Counsel has made a statement at the bar that, in terms of the order passed by Writ Court, petitioner was re-instated in service vide order dated 16.02.2019. He also produced the order dated 16.02.2019 in the Court today, which is taken on record.

3. Since the order passed by Writ Court has been complied with, therefore, no useful purpose would be served by keeping this contempt petition pending.

4. Accordingly, the contempt petition is closed. Contempt notices issued to respondents are hereby discharged.
