1984 Supreme(MP) 131
R. K. Vijaywargiya, J.
Karan Singh v. Kishanlal.
Cr. R. No. 24 of 1984 (I); Decided on 16-2-1984.
R. C. Bhatnagar for applicant.
Headnote:(1) Criminal P.C., 1973 -- Ss. 29 and 241 -- offence under S. 24 Cattle Trespass Act and 506 IPC pleaded guilty -- sentence till rising of Court is proper.
(2) Penal Code, 1860 -- S. 506 r/w S. 24 Trespass Act pleaded guilty -- sentence till rising of Court is proper.
This revision is directed against the judgment passed by the trial Court convicting the non-applicant of the offence u/s 506 IPC and section 24 of the Cattle Trespass Act.
The trial court on a plea of guilty, sentenced the non-applicant till rising of the Court.
Held : The learned counsel states that the sentence is too inadequate.
This contention has no force. It cannot be held that the sentence awarded by the trial Court specially on plea of guilty and considering the nature of the offence is too inadequate. I, therefore see no reason to interfere in this revision. Revision dismissed.
