Let a Rule be issued calling upon the opposite party 22.04.2024

to show cause as to why the convict-appellant- petitioner should not be enlarged on bail in Criminal Appeal No.758 of 2024 arising out of Judgment and order of conviction and sentence dated 21.09.2023 passed by the Court No.16, Dhaka in T.R. Case No.183 of 2020 (Uttara Pashim) thereby convicted the convict- appellant-petitioner under Section 420 of the Penal Code and sentencing him to suffer rigorous imprisonment for a period of 04 (four) years and to pay a fine of Tk.5,000/- in default to suffer simple

imprisonment for 01(one) month more, now pending in the Court of learned Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Dhaka and/or pass such other or further order or orders as to this Court may seem fit and proper.

The Rule is made returnable within 06(six) weeks from date.

Pending disposal of the Rule, let the accused petitioner Mir Lablu Islam son of late Ruhul Amin be enlarged on ad-interim bail till disposal of the rule on furnishing bail bond to the satisfaction of the Court of learned Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Dhaka.

The concern Court is at liberty to cancel the bail, if the accused-petitioner misuses the privilege of bail.

Let this matter be placed in the list for hearing on 23.07.2024.
