The applicant has invoked the jurisdiction of this

Court under section 482 Cr.P.C. with a prayer to

direct court below to expedite the proceeding of

case no. 1347 of 2014, State Vs. Shambhu Nathi

Tiwari and others, arsing out of case crime no.

327 of 2013, under sections 498-A, 323, 504, 506

I.P.C. and 3/4 of D.P. Act P.S. Kotwali, District Ballia

within the stipulated period..

Learned counsel for the applicant has submitted

that the applicant is the first informant and wife of

O.P. No.2 in the present case. The charge sheet

was submitted on 11.7.2014 and the cognizance

has been taken. However, despite lapse of more

than nine years, the trial has not yet been

concluded and even charge has not been framed

and the matter has been lingering-on, on one

pretext or the other.
