Heard learned counsel for the applicants, learned A.G.A. for the

State and perused the record.

This application U/s 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed by the

applicants seeking prayer for quashing the entire proceedings of

Criminal Case No. 504 of 2020 (State v. Shiv Shankar and

others) arising out of Case Crime No. 312 of 2013, under

Section 498A, 323 I.P.C. and 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act,

Police Station Sikrara, District Jaunpur, pending in the court of

Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-III, Jaunpur on the basis of

charge sheet dated 12.12.2013 and summoning/cognizance

order dated 03.06.2020 passed by Additional Chief Judicial

Magistrate-IInd, Jaunpur with a further prayer to stay the

further proceedings of the aforesaid case.

Learned counsel for the applicants submitted that the impugned
