behalf of State and perused the material placed on record.

This petition has been filed with a prayer to quash the F.I.R. in

Case Crime No.0119 of 2021 registered under Sections 376,

504, 506 I.P.C. and Section 67 Information Technology Act.,

P.S. Kapsethi, District Varanasi.

The averment in the police report is that petitioner lured the

victim into physical relationship on the promise of marriage and

later dumped her. It is then stated that victim was physically

threatened and various intimate photographs were uploaded on

facebook messenger on account of which the victim had to

suffer.

The report has been registered under various sections including

Section 376 I.P.C. The report is now challenged on the ground

that petitioner had married the complainant and that
