This petition has been filed by the petitioner assailing the

impugned notice dated 5.10.2020 issued by respondent no.2

under section 3(1) of U.P. Control of Goondas Act.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that due to Covid-19

pandemic, he could not file reply to the said show cause notice

and purpose of filing this petition would be served if he is

permitted to file reply to the said notice within two weeks and

in turn respondent no.2 be directed to decide the same by a

speaking order.

State counsel has no objection to this proposition.

The petition is disposed of permitting the petitioner to file reply

to the said notice within two weeks from today and in the

eventuality of doing so, it is expected from respondent no.2 to

decide the same on merits in accordance with law as

expeditiously as possible.

It is made clear that we have observed nothing on the merits of

the case and the competent authority to pass appropriate order

in accordance with law.

The party shall file computer generated copy of this order

downloaded from the official website of High Court Allahabad,

self attested by petitioner (s) along with a self attested identity

proof of the said person (s) (preferably Aadhar Card)

mentioning the mobile number (s) to which the said Aadhar

Card is linked.

The concerned Court/Authority/Official shall verify the

authenticity of such computerized copy of the order from the

official website of High Court Allahabad and shall make a

declaration of such verification in writing.
