In pursuance to the previous order dated 10.11.2020 passed by

this Court, petitioner no. 2, i.e., the corpus Smt. Mala Sachan

has been produced before this Court by Sub-Inspector Anuj

Kumar, P. No. 152423085, District Kanpur Dehat.

The Court has made certain queries to the petitioner no. 2, i.e.,

corpus to ascertain her stand and the questions put to the

petitioner no. 2 and the answers giver by her are reproduced

below:-

Q. Aapka naam Kya hai?

A. Mala Sachan.

Q. Pita ka kya naam hai?

A. Rajjan Babu.

Q. Aapne Naval Kishor Katiyar se shadi ki hai?

A. Yes.

Q. Aapki umra kitni hai?

A. 27.

Q. Is samay kiske paas rah rahi hai?

A. Pita.

Q. Aap kiske saath jana chahti hai?

A. Pati ke saath.

It is apparent from the answers given by petitioner no. 2 as well

as the high school certificate annexed with the writ petition that

petitioner no. 2 is major. The marriage of the petitioners has

also been registered under the Uttar Pradesh Marriage

Registration Rules, 2017 and the detenue - petitioner no. 2 has

expressed her willingness and desire to go with her husband.

The petitioner no. 2 is ordered to be set at liberty forthwith. She

is free to go with her husband.

The writ petition is allowed.

It is further directed that the Superintendent of Police, Kanpur

Dehat shall take requisite steps to ensure that no harm is caused

to the petitioners and no body interferes with their married life

and liberty.

The Registrar (Compliance) shall communicate this order to

Superintendent of Police, Kanpur Dehat.
